Asma Khan is an Indian-born British chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. She owns Darjeeling Express restaurant in London's Covent Garden which is run by an 'all women' team. Asma was profiled on the sixth season of the Emmy Nominated documentary series Chef's Table. In June 2019 Business Insider named her number 1 on their list of "100 Coolest People in Food and Drink". The Evening Standard listed her as one of London’s most influential people, GG2 included her in Britain’s 101 most influential Asians and also the first chef to be featured on Vogue's list of 25 most influential women.
