Robin Ghosh is the founder of India's first mishti academy to promote art of sweet making. The academy is called Bangla Misti Academy is being setup at Santiniketan, Bolpur to protect the art of Bengali Sweets and Deserts. The objective of this academy is to make available trained and skilled craftsman for the industry, awareness regarding scientific processes, food machinery, quality control, food laws, packaging  and management system.
