Rukshana A. Kapadia is a  Consultant & Strategist in the Hospitality Industry and has been associated with some of the biggest names in the business including Mio Amore, Chai Break, Dineout Passport, N.R.A.I. - National Restaurant Association of India (Kolkata Chapter) to name a few. Her project the Food Diplomacy Program for the Department of State, U.S.A and Indo-American Centre, Washington was a unique and path-breaking international programme conducted for the first time in India. She loves the challenge of working with F&B Start-up’s to create and nurture brands to success as well as working with the established Brands so they can continue to attract the patronage they have enjoyed over decades.

Her love for food of all kinds ranging from gourmet to rustic led her to start an award winning blog, with her work being recognized by several forums ~

She writes and reviews prolifically on the subject across myriad domains including ET Hospitality World (The Economic Times Group), Sanmarg Hindi Daily (Eastern India’s most widely read Hindi Language Daily). Rukshana Co-Hosted the first season of Friends Kitchen-Heroes of Hospitality 2020 on Friends FM and is looking forward to Season 2. The proud founder of the Kolkata Food Fanatics, a small but elite group of food enthusiasts and Indian Culinary Commune, a Facebook community of people who take their food as seriously as she does.

Giving back is important to her & she champions causes close to her heart, working to highlight LGBTQ+ rights, Diversity and Inclusion, Women's Empowerment & Children’s Education. She was humbled to receive the Social Soldier Award from National Human Rights Organization during the Covid-19 Pandemic, 2020. She proudly serves as an Advisory Board Member, Sanmarg Aparajita Awards - Saluting Womanhood. Rukshana is a passionate animal lover & a proud pet parent to Coco & Cookie, two adorable cats that she and her partner rescued and adopted in 2021.
