Sibendu Das


Sibendu Das is a journalist, content designer, branding consultant and a food explorer, who has written extensively on the F&B scene of Kolkata for over eight years in The Telegraph newspaper. Coming from a family that traces its origin to Sylhet aka Srihatta of undivided Bengal, Sibendu has grown up in the erstwhile French colonial town of Chandernagore, on the banks of the Hooghly — known for being the hub of mishti making in South Bengal. When not busy eating or studying food ethnography, you may find him backpacking while crooning an old Bengali song or two.
